Itinerary
Reach Ujjain by train or road. Our driver will pick you up from the station or bus stand. Check into your hotel and rest for a while. After lunch, visit the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas. Feel the strong spiritual energy around the temple.
Later, visit Harsiddhi Mata Temple, known for its lamp tower (Deep Stambh). After that, stop at Ram Ghat, located on the banks of the River Shipra. Enjoy the peaceful evening, Aarti here. You can sit by the river and feel relaxed. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Wake up early and enjoy a light breakfast. Start your day with a visit to the Kaal Bhairav Temple, where devotees offer liquor to the deity. From there, go to Chintaman Ganesh Temple, an ancient place of worship.
Next, head to Sandipani Ashram, where Lord Krishna is believed to have studied. The peaceful environment and stories from the past will impress you. Take some time for local shopping. You can buy religious items, Rudraksha beads, or souvenirs. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and get a good night’s rest.
Have breakfast and check out of your hotel. Drive to Omkareshwar, a holy town located on an island in the Narmada River. The road journey is smooth and scenic. On the way, you can stop at a local dhaba for lunch. Once you reach Omkareshwar, check in at your hotel. Take some rest.
In the evening, visit Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. The temple is situated on the Om-shaped Island, making it very unique. You can walk across the hanging bridge or take a boat to reach the temple. Join the evening Aarti at the ghats and feel the peaceful vibe. Overnight stay in Omkareshwar.
